Keen to keep their cocktail line fresh, Bacardi annually host the Legacy Cocktail Competition. This is a contest that challenges the world’s most innovative bartenders to create drinks that slot seamlessly alongside classic cocktails such as the Mojito, Daiquiri and Cuba Libre. Bacardi approached us to remodel global communications for the event.
In addition to creating an entirely new visual identity, we were keen to utilise technology to increase awareness and aid logistics. The logo designs and photography style draw upon Bacardi’s heritage in order to generate a sense of authenticity. We also produced a digital registration mechanism to help capture competition entries from around the globe.
